Brief info

Brian joined the Towpath staff in September 2011. He played tennis at Baldwin-Wallace College where he was team captain, MVP and Conference Runner-up in doubles in 1973. He has been a USPTA Professional since 1974 and has extensive teaching experience. He was Head Pro at Manituo-wabing Tennis Camp, Canada (1973-74), Head Pro with Peter Burwash International, Head Pro at Kauai Surf Tennis Club, Hawaii, Assistant Pro at Midtown Tennis Club, Chicago, and Assistant Pro at River Run Racquet Club and Peak Performance Tennis Center in Cleveland. For twenty years he was the tennis director at Cuyahoga Community College, Western Campus for credit and non-credit classes. Brian still plays on USTA summer leagues and has been on the Ohio State Championship Senior Men's 4.0 team in 2010 & 2011, Ohio State Championship Men's 4.0 Super Senior team in 2011 and Medina's Men's 4.0 team which made the playoffs 2010 & 2011. Brian also played at the National 65 and over championships in 2017, 2018 and qualified in 2020 before they were cancelled. He played on the Towpath 7.0 55 and over mixed doubles team that finished second at the Midwest Regional Finals.
