Brief info

Greg Llewellyn was named Head Professional at Towpath in August 2005. He had been an Associate Professional since 1996. He played four years, two at the #1 position, for the University of Akron where he was named MVP for three consecutive years. While in college, he was named to the All Mid-American Conference Team twice and the All-Academic Team. Greg coaches all ages and levels including some of the top high school players in Ohio and all of our USTA Men’s teams. Greg has been associated with the Akron/Cleveland Area Training Center as a coach since 1997. He was named the head coach in 1999. In addition, he is also a National Ratings Verifier. In September 2005, Greg and his 5.0 men’s team won the USTA National Championships in Palm Springs. He has since competed at the national level in 2008 on a 5.5 team that finished in fourth place, and also a 9.0 mixed team in 2010 and 2012. Greg is sponsored by Wilson Racquets.
