Mary Lynn Bush

Biography

Mary Lynn joined the Towpath team in August 2023. She grew up in Elyria, Ohio and played high school tennis for Elyria Catholic. After graduating from Kent State University, Mary Lynn enjoyed a 34-year career in education teaching high school mathematics, coaching high school tennis and administrating as an assistant principal. In 2019, she was invited to try pickleball at a local church and developed a love for the game. Mary Lynn retired from education in June of 2024 and earned her PPR coaching certification in pickleball in October of that same year. As a player, Mary Lynn has competed in various tournaments. Her most recent accomplishments were winning the Pickle in the Land women’s 4.0 singles in 2024 and placing fourth in both women’s doubles and singles in the National Senior Games in 2025. Mary Lynn enjoys combining her love of teaching others and pickleball by teaching drills and lessons at Towpath Tennis Center.
